My Approach

I take a client-centered, collaborative approach — meaning your voice, your experiences, and your perspective shape our work. I’m here to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you identify what matters most to you.

In our sessions, I blend:

  • Attachment-based therapy to help you understand the patterns shaping your relationships

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to explore what’s happening beneath reactions like shutting down, anger, or overwhelm

  • DBT-informed skills for grounding, emotion regulation, communication, and resilience

  • Solution-focused strategies that help you move toward meaningful and realistic change

My style is down-to-earth, warm, and steady. I’m not here to judge, fix, or pressure you — I’m here to walk with you as you make sense of what’s happening internally and relationally.

If faith is an important part of your life, I can integrate a Christian perspective into your counseling — gently, respectfully, and only if you want it. If you prefer not to include faith in the process, our work remains fully inclusive, collaborative, and centered on your goals.

Who I Work With

I support:

  • Adults navigating big life transitions

  • Young adults feeling overwhelmed or stuck

  • Individuals struggling with emotional intensity or shutdown

  • Couples wanting more connection, safety, and understanding

  • Neurodivergent adults seeking affirming, steady support

  • Clients wanting to better understand their patterns and relationships

I’m especially passionate about helping people who feel lost in the “in-between” spaces of life — the seasons where things are shifting, overwhelming, or not turning out how you expected.

What You Can Expect With Me

You can expect a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out.
A space where your feelings matter.
A space where we take things one step at a time.

We’ll clarify your goals together, explore what’s getting in the way, work through emotional patterns with curiosity (not pressure), and build tools that help you feel more grounded and steady in your everyday life.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel seen, understood, and supported as you move toward the life and relationships you want.

If you’re ready to take that next step — or if you’re just curious about what therapy could look like — I’d love to connect with you.
